TECH NOIR: "SECURITY/SAFETY: HOME /DORM/ CHILD"

"SECURITY: HOME/DORM/CHILD"
by
Renee On Ebay

Forget the 'Modess' girls...grab for your armour....

While it is a "good idea" to put 911 on your cell phone
speed dial, "always be prepared" is more than a 'motto' when
your personal safety and security is at stake. The following
is research that I culled together from prominent security
experts. I take "my" safety very seriously and you should take
yours seriously too. So--let's get right to it....

I. Personal Safety (while traveling or on vacation).

Hotel Safe (use it for jewelry, passport, credit cards etc).

A. Outside of your hotel:

1. Security Wallet
Wear it around your neck while sight seeing or touring. Corporate
Travel Safety sells one with a "reinforced wire" that can't be
cut from around your neck.

B. Inside your hotel room:

2. Pepper Spray Pen (for Key Ring)
Self-explanatory.

5. Personal Motion Detector

movement and then sound an alarm).
View/Buy: www protectmefirst.com

6. Pepper Spray Pen (for Key Ring)
Get a long cord, attach the pepper spray pen to a long cord
and hang it on your hotel bed post. (Remember you CAN NOT carry
this on board the airplane---you have to pack it in the luggage
cargo section).

C. Locator
7. GPS Tracker
Get a cell phone with a GPS Tracker. (Although with exception
of a few States "all" cell phones can be tracked by the police).

For those of you with children the IOn Kids is now available.
A homer/wrist tag is placed on your child's arm (it looks
like a "watch") and a "base unit" is carried by the parent (it
looks like a "tv remote control"). It sounds an alarm if anyone
tries to "remove the watch/homer/wrist tag" from your child's
wrist....

Police recommend a 32 or 38 for women. Personally I prefer

yellow pages will list "training sites". Weapons stores
can also recommend fire arms training sites. And--you must
get a "permit" if you want to carry a "concealed weapon" when
you travel. Note: There is even a bra holster!).
